The formal inaguration of the English Association 2006 -2007 took place on 8^th August 2006.
Dr. Anniamma Kuriakose, presently the Principal of Girideepam Institute of Advanced Learning Kalathipady  was the Chief Guest for the function and spoke on the power of work.

Literature Magazines

On 8th August 2006, the III^rd English Literature Magazine "CHARISMA",  was given wings to flutter and soar high in the literary world. Dr. Anniamma Kuriakose, the Chief Guest  released the magazine in the inaguration ceremony of the  English Asssociation.  The Chief editor is Serin Issac Benjamin and the Sub Editor is Sajna Elsa Alexander.

On 30^th  November 2006, the release of the II^nd English Literature Magazine "ZEST" took place in the auditorium.   Mrs. Susan John, the retired professor of C.M.S College, Kottayam was the chief guest of the function. The Chief editor Dayana Varghese and the Sub editors Jefna Latheef and Gayathri Lal deserve special mention.

The I^st year English Literature students released their magazine "MIRA" in February.

Euphony

" Euphony" is a humble endeavour that brought together the Literary skills and linguistic abilities of III^rd B.A English literature. The students could publish 4 editions of the leaflet with the co-operative spirit and active participation of the class and teachers. " Euphony" brought home articles by the students, interviews with eminent personalities of the college and the campus news. " Euphony" is the expression of our timid thoughts in the most sweet and pleasing language.
