Department of English

The Department of English functions with four permanent teachers and five guest lecturers on the roll. Literary events and other seminars are held by the department to enrich the knowledge and capacity of the students."Carnivalesque", an inter-collegiate literary event was hosted by the department recently. The members of the faculty strives to keep the students informed about the developments ad trends in the world literature.

Dr.Annie Margret P is a Reader and Research Guide at Mahatma Gandhi University and there are five scholars working under her supervision. Dr. Elizabeth P. Kurien, Reader in English keeps herself up to date with the innovations that develop in the field. The College conducts an add-on course in English and Dr. Teena Annah Thomas effectively co-ordinates it, at present.
